Michael Watson
Executive Director


Mike is the commercial brain behind Archer Knight, with a straightforward philosophy of ‘work hard, deliver on time’. Mike directs Archer Knight’s commercial and operational functions and has more than 20 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry. Over his career, Mike has built a detailed knowledge of the industry, leading commercial activities in Asia Pacific, West Africa and the UK Continental Shelf and has held senior commercial roles at several energy service companies, including Bibby Offshore, Wood Group Engineering, and Technip Offshore UK. Mike has a BSc in Quantity Surveying from Robert Gordon University.

Executive Director


David Boggs is the founder and Director of Energy Maritime Associates. David has over 25 years’ experience in the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry and was previously General Manager – Commercial at Tanker Pacific Offshore Terminals in Singapore, responsible for all business development and commercial activities for a fleet of leased FSO and FPSO units. He is a leading expert on the floating production market, with frequent appearances in industry publications and conferences.  Mr. Boggs has a BA cum laude from Harvard University and an MBA with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was also president of the Energy Finance Group.

Derek Beddows
Director of Diving Safety & Services


Derek joined the Archer Knight team in 2020 and is a highly respected diving industry safety professional. He was BP’s first Diving Technical Authority, where he was responsible for all upstream diving. Derek created BP’s global requirements for improved hyperbaric reception facilities at all saturation diving worksites, which later became the global industry norm. Derek entered the diving industry in 1977 and has worked for several service companies within the oil & gas sector. His most recent role before BP was Diving and Operations Support Group Manager for Technip UK.

Finance & Facilities Manager


Lynne joined us to provide essential business support in our early days as a start-up in 2016 and is a member of our senior leadership team. As well as her experience working within the subsea industry, we have also benefited from her background in project management and working for educational organisations. Lynne plays a critical role in ensuring our business operations run smoothly, heading up all support services including finance, company policy and facilities.

Business Development Manager


Eric joined Energy Maritime Associates in 2025, after almost two decades leading business development and sales for a principal supplier in the floating production industry. His experience in international client relationships, project collaborations and business development makes him a perfect fit as the primary point person for our clients as they navigate all of the opportunities available through EMA. Eric is an integral part of the business by bridging the gap between our intelligence and consulting teams, and our clients. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 2003, focusing on Public Relations and Business Administration.

Kelsey Crehan
Group Market Intelligence Manager


Kelsey runs the day-to-day operations of the Market Intelligence Team. This entails management of the team in terms of deliverable deadlines, as well as preparation of Monthly Market Assessment Plan reports and bespoke research for a variety of clients within the subsea market. This includes the compiling, managing, and analysing granular of data to provide insight within industry sectors. Kelsey graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology in 2017 and worked in offshore recruitment before joining Archer Knight as a Market Intelligence Research Assistant in 2019.
